Paul Paquette’s business career has seen him work as an Internal Auditor & Management Advisor in the financial services industry, with particular focus in the life & health insurance industry. Paul’s experience includes: process re-engineering; business strategy evaluations; business risk management; expense re-alignment initiatives; investment, operational and technology audits; key control reviews; system development projects; fraud investigations and regulatory compliance.
Prior to co-founding Ethidex Inc. along with now-retired partners Dennis Cartwright and Michael Deck in 2004, Paul worked with PricewaterhouseCoopers’ Advisory Services and the Internal Audit Departments of the Confederation Life Group of Companies and the Canadian Branch of Mutual Omaha Insurance Company.

Paul is also a qualified teacher in the North American Pathwork Association and President of the International Pathwork Foundation, a philanthropic position. The Pathwork is a well-recognized spiritual program for fostering self-understanding, personal growth and creative expression.
As President of the company Paul’s goal is to ensure existing clients get the best service possible while looking to improve and expand all aspects of our service.

Director of Technology
Sue leads the overall Technology strategy and Product Development for Ethidex. Her responsibilities include supporting and enhancing Ethidex’s proprietary software Compliance Office™, working with hosting providers to ensure that Ethidex clients have a safe and secure data environment and she supports all Ethidex clients, either directly or indirectly to ensure their needs are met.
She brings extensive expertise in Software Development with over 25 years of programming, management and leadership experience. She has seen the perspective as client, vendor and business partner in industries such as Finance, 3rd Party Logistics, New Media and Television, Digital Asset Management, Automotive and Construction.
Sue’s educational background includes a BA in Math and French from the University of Toronto, along with several other courses in computer programming, leadership, finance and human resources.
As Director of Technology, Sue’s goal is to ensure that our clients have a solid application to help them do their job, that we help them whenever needed in a fast and efficient manner and that we listen to client feedback to enhance the system and end up with happy, productive users.
A. Rifat Caglayan
Manager, Market Development
A. Rifat Caglayan is responsible for Market Development activities internationally as well as identifying business development opportunities in Canada. He is motivated to bring to other countries that same gold standard that the Ethidex™ Risk Manager Service provides to its clients in Canada.
Prior to joining Ethidex Inc. in 2018, Rifat worked in the banking industry with several different multinationals present in foreign countries and markets. While his early career focused on corporate financing and correspondent banking, more recently in New York City he served as the Principal Officer of the US branch operations of the largest Turkish bank where in addition to being responsible for overseeing daily operations, he developed and implemented increased measures to get the bank in full compliance with the New York state, federal and international regulations.
Rifat also worked as an independent consultant in the areas of strategy, corporate restructuring, Bank Secrecy Act and Anti-Money Laundering (BSA/AML) and regulatory compliance in the US.
Rifat is the immediate past representative for Darussafaka Society to United Nations in New York and a member of Elisha Kent Kane Historical Society in New York and Darussafaka Society in Istanbul. This charity is devoted to helping children without adequate parental support get the education they need.
Rifat studied banking at Istanbul University.
New Business Development & Marketing Manager
Roksana Cieplowska specialises in building and identifying new business and market opportunities. Defining long-term organizational strategic goals, Roksana understands client’s unique business requirements and connects them with a bespoke framework for managing, identifying, assessing, and reporting compliance risks.
Graduating with an Honours degree in Business from York University, Roksana double majored in Corporate Social Responsibility and Law Governance. Her studies deeply rooted the belief that Business Ethics should be a key principle in every organization, is crucial for building a culture of compliance and long term financial growth.
With over 10 years of sales experience, Roksana brings excitement and integrity to clients and the regulatory industry. Through effective communication and viewing client relationships as long term investments, Roksana goal is to continue bringing comfort to clients in assuring that their regulatory requirements exceed industry standards allowing them to focus on their business.
Client Services Administrator
Barbara Rotschild graduated from the University of Toronto with a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science. Following her graduation from the University of Toronto she began working at IBM Canada Ltd. At IBM she started as a VM Systems Programmer for IBM Canada's client demo mainframe systems.
Later, she moved on to be the team leader and duty manager for US large systems software customer support service where she oversaw approximately 50 people who focused on IBM’s large client base in the US.
Barb joined Ethidex in 2008 and has adopted the Quarterly Update Process and has played a vital role in organizing the internal management database.
In addition to reading and hiking, Barb enjoys spending time with her lovely family.
Also, in her spare time she volunteers by mentoring ESL learners and helping them strengthen their résumé writing and interview skills.

Service à la clientèle
Chantal Heynemand, graduée de l’Université de McGill, détient deux certificats dont un en Administration des Affaires et le second en Informatique de Gestion. Elle débute sa carrière en informatique dans le domaine pharmaceutique à Montréal chez L.A.B. Bio Recherche et ensuite Phoenix International Life Sciences touchant plusieurs rôles dont administratrice de réseau, soutien aux usagers et développeur.
Chantal se joint à Ethidex en 2009 en tant que liaison francophone pour la clientèle des régions de Québec et Montréal. Elle fait la formation et le soutien sur le système de gestion de risques et de conformité d’Ethidex. Elle travaille sur les migrations aux nouvelles versions et s’occupe des communications pour les mises-à-jours trimestrielles.
Client Support Specialist
Tom is a member of our Client Support team providing front line support to Ethidex clients. He assists clients with training, set-up, issue tracking and resolution. He communicates with clients and makes recommendations for solutions including walk-through of steps if required.
Tom is a professional with solid experience in Business Analysis and Customer Service, with combined experience of over 10 years in both fields. As a former Client Service Representative and Branch Account Representative at a couple of Canada’s top financial firms, Tom is knowledgeable in compliance with standard requirements and privacy regulations first hand. Tom also brings technical experience from working with multiple client delivery programs related to solution delivery in Telecommunications.
Tom’s educational background includes Police Crime Scene Investigation & Criminology. He is currently enrolled with the Canadian Securities Institute and working towards his IFIC certification.
As Client Support Specialist, Tom’s goal is to ensure client satisfaction by assisting and educating our clients on all the features Compliance Office™ and Ethidex services have to offer. And also to provide efficient service in regards to the resolution of technical situations related to Compliance Office™ and the important business of our clients.
