PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) Toronto office developed governance, risk management and compliance (GRC) methodology and systems addressing the needs of the Canadian financial services industry.
The same three GRC experts go on to establish Ethidex Inc., an independent company, and acquire the RCM service – now a turn-key solution for firms to carry out compliance.
Following the official incorporation in March, a local team was set up in Germany to work on product development for the German market while working out of their office at the MAFINEX-Technologiezentrum in Mannheim.
Within PwC, three colleagues start the RCM service by using the software tool “Compliance Office” and regulatory modules developed by leading law firms.
Ethidex Inc. engages two leading German law firms and started developing initial modules for Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
